Nut Allergies - We are a Nut Free School
Please be advised that we operate a 'no nuts' policy in school to ensure the safety of pupils with allergies.
We would be grateful if you would not send in nuts or products containing nuts in packed lunches or as snacks.
If you are a family with a low household income your child maybe eligible for a pupil premium grant, a benefit of this is a free school meal for more information please click this link. Accessing to Pupil Premium funding will also assist the school in funding events and school trips for disadvantaged children.
School Meals are supplied to William Penn School by FEED (feeding excellence every day) who are part of the ISS Group.

All children in Key Stage 1 are entitled to a hot meal. This can be ordered through the FEED App. Instructions on how to download and set up the app are on the FEED website, you can of course contact the school office if you need support in setting up the app or booking your child's hot meals.This app enables parents to be confident that they are in control of the meal choices for their child, they will receive the meal they have selected even if they are last in the queue, regardless of if it is a paid meal or free meal.
The system is also reducing food waste. It also ensures a robust system that enables children with allergies and intolerances to view meals that are only suitable for their specific requirements and receive the meal that they selected.
