Curriculum Overview and How to find out more about the Curriculum at William Penn

Our learning is as cross-curricular as possible and incorporates our mathematics and English with other subjects through a themed approach.  We operate a 2 year cycle in Years 1/2, Years 3/4 and Years 5/6 and an annual  cycle in Year R.  If you wish to find out more about the curriculum that children follow please contact the headteacher or, if you are a parent of a child at school, the class teacher.  The topic structure is as follows:
Early Years Foundation Stage Phonics 
At school we use elements of various phonics schemes, however the main focus uses the 'Read, Write Inc' approach.
