School History

Our School Today

On Tuesday 3rd July 1973, our present building was officially opened by Professor Edwin Bronner of Pennsylvania and was named after William Penn.   Professor Bronner unveiled a plaque to commemorate the opening.  Over the years, there have been many changes, additions and improvements to the school buildings which are set in beautiful grounds.

In our understanding, William Penn School is unique in its status as a primary school with a Quaker foundation.  As a school we also subscribe to the same ideals for which William Penn strived, including kindness, tolerance and understanding.
