School Closure (Weather)
At William Penn, we will do our very best to stay open during the winter whatever the weather. However, if we do need to close, we will aim to take that decision as early as possible in order to give you time to make alternative arrangements.
Please remember that we need enough staff present to open the school and attendance is dependent on weather conditions where members of staff live as well as at school.
We will endeavor to text you in the morning by 6:30 am. If you are unsure as to whether the school is closed, please refer to the banner at the top of the school website, West Sussex County Council website and local radio stations (BBC Sussex and Bright FM) for information.
If there is no such information present, please assume that the school is open.
